Waldemar Halek is an accomplished senior executive and board member with over 20 years of professional experience. He is currently the President of Transworld Business Advisors of Ontario, a business brokerage and M&A advisory firm and the Managing Partner at YorkLane Capital Partners Inc., a real estate asset management firm. Previously, Waldemar was on the senior leadership team of First Capital Realty, a TSX listed real estate company and the executive team of Elad Canada, an international real estate group of companies. He also worked at PwC LLP, a global accounting firm.
Waldemar is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. He also holds a dual Master of Business Administration degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Schulich School of Business at York University.
Waldemar served on the Board of Directors of Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce since 2009 and over the years held positions of Chairman, President, Vice President and Treasurer. Waldemar is a recipient of the Chamber’s Executive of the Year Excellence Award in 2016.
