Thank you for the opportunity to serve as the next President of Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce. I wanted to welcome new and re-elected board members – congratulations on your appointments and I look forward to working together.

This election marks a significant leadership change. We are saying good-bye to a long-serving President, Wojciech Sniegowski, yet we will continue to benefit from his network and advice by welcoming him to the Chamber’s Advisory Board. We also say thank you to our outgoing Treasurer, Anna Skowron. We welcome three new board members: Artur Krzycki, Michael Miasek and Ania Krosinska, while four will continue for another term: Stephen Klus, Caroline Ruggiero, Kris Manitius and myself. Collectively, as a Board of Directors, we have the skills and experience necessary to guide the organization into the future.

The Chamber has great traditions spanning more than 35 years. We will build on those and set a progressive agenda to allow this Chamber to excel and continue to be the leading business organization dedicated to the promotion, development and expansion of business, trade and investment opportunities between Canada and Poland, as well as development of relationship and networking opportunities within the Canadian-Polish business community and with others.

One of the key agenda themes during this Board’s term will be enhancing the quality of membership experience. While we will need to navigate through another year of the COVID-19 pandemic, I am excited to work on certain new and returning events and initiatives to be announced soon. At the same time, I encourage everyone to reach out to myself or any other Board member with your suggestions and what is important to you – let us know how your Chamber can help you.

Together we can write another successful chapter of the Chamber’s history.
