Attention to detail and reflective practice are a key part of her delivery of service and knowledge and her over 25 years as a Nurse. Leslie is a host of Living in Synergy radio show on Connect me radio. The show strives to bring all parts of life together with a primary focus in health and wellness and supports community initiatives and outreach. Outside her work in the healthcare sector she is a Humanitarian. Leslie has an extensive record in nonprofit and community leadership and education. She has held chair positions for various organizations such as United way, Breakfast with Santa Foundation, Hats on for Awareness and Learning Disabilities of Peel Region. Her passion is instrumental in creating awareness and a voice in mental health and assisting in dispelling the stigma associated with it. Leslie is a director at the special advisory council of Dufferin Peel Catholic District School board. Currently, her work extends to She has a voice Inc. supporting youth and their families bridging the gap between service providers, community agencies and the public. Leslie is married to Carlo Silvestri and has raised three daughters. She takes pride in her heritage and continues to be actively involved serving the Polish community.
