Director

Kristopher Manitius is the Vice President Polimex Forwarding Corp.

Kristopher comes from a family that has had a long standing involvement in the Polish cultural and business community. His parents immigrated to Canada from Poland in the early 1980s and worked hard to establish businesses in the Greater Toronto Area.  His father, Vitek Manitius, started Polimex Forwarding Corp., a freight forwarding service, with parcel shipping and warehousing divisions, back in 1982. His mother, Elizabeth Manitius, started Polimex Travel, a travel agency specializing in Poland, around this same time. The parcel shipping division of Polimex has been particularly important for helping Polish Canadians keep in touch with their family and friends back in Poland by sending gifts.

Kristopher holds a law degree from the University of Western Law and a Political Science degree from McGill University. After finishing his law degree, he articled and practiced at Fogler, Rubinoff LLP, a downtown Bay Street firm, in the area of commercial real estate and banking. In 2016, he joined his family’s business as a member of management, as well as the company’s in-house legal counsel. During his time at Polimex, he has helped establish an ecommerce fulfillment division of the company.
