On March 26, 2025, Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce co-hosted an exclusive business reception at the Consulate General of Poland in Montreal, held in conjunction with the Aeromart trade show. The event was organized in partnership with the Consulate and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), and brought together industry stakeholders to strengthen Canada-Poland collaboration in the aerospace sector.

The reception welcomed representatives from the City of Rzeszów, including Kamil Czyż, as well as delegates from Aviation Valley | Dolina Lotnicza, Poland’s leading aerospace cluster. Claudia Sidor introduced a group of companies from Poland actively involved in aerospace engineering and manufacturing, each exploring opportunities to expand their global footprint and connect with Canadian counterparts:

  • Bergman Engineering – Tomasz Szpikowski

  • DIOXID – Grzegorz Malinowski & Paulina Malinowska

  • PPW NABOR – Ilona Naborczyk-Górska

  • SALLOYTECH Aero Group – Dariusz Oleba

  • Poltra – Maciej Urban

Throughout the evening, participants engaged in meaningful conversations about transatlantic collaboration, industrial partnerships, and the future of aerospace innovation. The event highlighted Canada’s and Poland’s complementary strengths in advanced manufacturing, engineering talent, and R&D capabilities.

With the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) in place, and amidst shifting global trade dynamics, both countries are uniquely positioned to deepen commercial ties, strengthen supply chains, and respond strategically to challenges such as U.S. tariffs on industrial goods. Strengthening bilateral aerospace partnerships is not only beneficial for business—it also contributes to a more resilient and innovative transatlantic economy.

Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce is proud to support initiatives that bring together industry leaders, foster cross-border collaboration, and showcase the depth of talent and opportunity within both markets.
