On March 21, 2025, Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce members involved in the nuclear industry, together with several leading Canadian nuclear industry representatives, attended a breakfast conference at the World Trade Centre Toronto featuring Poland’s Minister of Industry, Marzena Czarnecka, and Ontario’s Minister of Energy and Electrification, Stephen Lecce. The event also welcomed dignitaries such as the Polish Ambassador to Canada and the Consul General of Poland in Toronto, underscoring the growing partnership between Poland and Canada in the realm of nuclear energy.

Poland has already begun collaborating with Canada on nuclear initiatives, leveraging Ontario’s status as a global leader in the industry. During her visit, Minister Czarnecka toured the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station – an experience that further highlighted Ontario’s advanced capabilities and reinforced Poland’s commitment to nuclear power as a clean, secure, and sustainable energy source. With escalating energy demands and a rapidly evolving global market, this dialogue and hands-on collaboration mark an important step forward in forging lasting ties and innovative solutions in the nuclear sector for both countries.
