Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce of Toronto together with the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Montreal organized B2B meeting with the representatives of Polish Nuclear Trade Mission To Canada on September 26th in the Etobicoke Civic Centre in Toronto.

The Trade Mission included representatives of Polish companies actively engaged in the energy sector, heavy machinery production, mechanical and electrical systems manufacturing, engineering services and consulting, as well as representatives of research and development (R&D) and the Ministry of Energy of Republic of Polandinterested in economic, industrial and energy cooperation with local partners in Canada.

The Canada- Poland  Chamber of Commerce of Toronto is dedicated to the promotion, development and expansion of business, trade and investment opportunities between Canada and Poland as well as the development of relationship and networking opportunities with other ethnic business organizations in Canada.

Its Engineering and Technology Committee’s mission is to provide a forum for businesses and organizations in the engineering and technology sectors and to support initiatives like this trade mission that aims to enhance collaboration and stimulate entrepreneurship in both countries.

Therefore our committee members and the volunteers have approached several organizations and companies in the Toronto area by inviting their members to our event.

On September 30 2016 delegates of The Polish Nuclear Trade Mission to Canada visited Promation facility. President of Promation, Mark Zimny, M.Sc., P.Eng, successful Polish businessmen and industry expert welcomed all the guests from Poland and Canada including representatives of companies specializing in the energy sector, manufacturing and engineering as well as government and local organizations supporting international relations.

Following presentations about the history and expertise of Promation as well as CSA Certifications and Nuclear Manufacturing all the guest were invited to attend a tour inside of the production facility and its different departments. Following lunch and discussions all the delegates were getting ready to fly back to Poland after a busy week in Toronto.

Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce Engineering and Technology Committee Chair Magdalena Ordyniec, M.Sc. attended this event and met with the distinguished guest including Andrzej Piotrowski , Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Poland; Andrzej Sidlo,  Chief Expert of the Ministry of Energy, Nuclear Energy Department; Tomasz Kijewski , Third Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ottawa; Rafal Pawlak,  First Councellor, Senior Trade Commissioner, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Montreal; Nicolas Lepage, Senior Trade Commissioner, Embassy of Canada in Warsaw, Poland; Dr. Ron Oberth, President of The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCI) and many others.
