On November 12, 2024, members of our organization proudly participated in the Polish Flag Raising Ceremony in honor of the National Independence Day of the Republic of Poland. The event took place at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, in front of Queen’s Park’s south side in Toronto, and was well attended by both the Polish community and supporters from across Ontario.
The ceremony featured inspiring speeches from the Consul of the Republic of Poland and representatives of Ontario’s political leadership. Their words highlighted the enduring friendship between Poland and Canada, as well as the contributions of the Polish community to the cultural fabric of Ontario. A heartfelt speech by a student from the Haller Polish School at the Polish Consulate added a youthful perspective, emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations.
We were honored to be part of this significant event, which not only celebrated Poland’s independence but also reinforced the strong ties between our two nations. Our participation reflects our commitment to supporting multicultural events that promote understanding and unity within our diverse society.
