2021 Excellence Awards Gala
On November 11, 2021, we hosted an invite only Excellence Awards Gala. Much more intimate in scale due to the pandemic but as always, we are grateful to our special sponsor LOT Polish Airlines. This year we were honoured to host Mr. Piotr Zgorzelski, Deputy Speaker from Poland and to award him among two other outstanding individuals. We also want to thank two of our speakers from the evening, Mayor Bonnie Crombie and MPP Natalia Kusendova. Both Mayor Crombie and MPP Kusendova received a medal from the Association of Polish Engineers alongside other members of the Polish-Canadian community. This year's Excellence Awards recognized the following distinguished individuals: Piotr Zgorzelski - Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland. Awarded Political Leadership of the year 2021 for demonstrating leadership by visiting Canada and Canadian Polonia in effort to find avenues for closer cooperation between Canadian Polonia and Poland. Andrzej Malinowski - President of the Employers of the Republic of Poland, Pracodawcy RP, one of the biggest business organizations in Poland. Awarded Champion of the year 2021 for Poland-Canada Business Development. This award is in recognition of efforts to further develop business relationships between both countries. Rafał Milczarski - CEO and President of the Management Board at LOT Polish Airlines. Awarded Industry Star of the year 2021 in recognition of his role of guiding Polish Airlines through COVID crisis.
